About the Library

The Ballston Spa Public Library is a valuable Village resource, with print, video, audio, and other materials available for both adults and children. The Library also has public-access computers for residents who wish to access the Internet, perform word processing, or access databases. A valid library card or ID is required.

The Library maintains a local history collection, including such items as city directories, the Ballston Journal on microfilm, and yearbooks large-print and parenting sections, as well as the Manzer Collection of historical materials concerning Ballston Spa and Saratoga County. The Library hosts regular story times for children and a monthly book discussion group for adults, as well as services such as the Community Room for not-for-profit groups, exhibit space, group visits, tax forms, and remote access to the on-line catalog and research databases.
