2024 Ballston Spa Holiday Parade & Tree Lighting

The holiday season is coming to life in the Village of Ballston Spa with the 2024 Ballston Spa Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting hosted by the Ballston Spa Business & Professional Association (BSBPA). This festive tradition, set for Friday, December 6, on Milton Avenue, offers a magical evening for residents and visitors alike to enjoy holiday festivities in downtown Ballston Spa.

As one of the most beloved holiday events in Ballston Spa, NY, the parade draws hundreds of spectators to see colorful floats, festive fire trucks, and community groups that showcase the warmth of the season. The parade will begin at 6:30 PM, moving from the north side of Milton Avenue to West High Street. After the parade, Santa and Mrs. Claus will light the holiday tree in Wiswall Park, arriving in true holiday spirit atop an Eagle-Matt Lee Fire Company truck.

The BSBPA is also partnering with the Toys for Tots campaign for this event, joined by the Ballston Spa Community Emergency Corps, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department, and the U.S. Marine Corps. Volunteers from these groups will collect new, unwrapped toy donations along the parade route and at the tree lighting, helping brighten the season for children in need.

Adding to the excitement, First Friday in Ballston Spa will also take place on December 1. Local shops and businesses will open their doors during the parade, offering festive activities, treats like hot cocoa and chowder, and free parking for attendees.
