BATH STREET SLEDDING THIS SATURDAY

BATH STREET SLEDDING THIS SATURDAY; STREET CLOSURES NECESSARY
Our Ballston Spa "Winter Festival" IS BACK thanks to our Ballston Spa Events Task Force! This Saturday (3/1/2025) from 11am until 4pm, everyone is invited to bring your sleds to sled down Bath Street hill from High Street down to the base past Washington Street! Our DPW Staff, with assistance from our friends at Saratoga County and the Town of Ballston, will be working hard to transform Bath Street into something similar to what is envisioned in the photos below -- thanks to them for all of their hard work over Friday and Saturday!
During this Winter Festival, we will have hot chocolate, face painting for kids, baked goods from Ribbon Cafe, food vendors, and more along Front Street, as you watch kids young and old enjoy their trek down the hill.
Make sure to join us Saturday, and also, PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE FOLLOWING STREET CLOSURES AND PARKING EFFECTS:
Friday from 7am until Saturday night: Bath Street from High Street to Hamilton St. will be closed, and parking will be prohibited on either side of this stretch of Bath Street.
In addition, side streets including Walnut Street (from the Old Police Station to Science St.), Front St. (from Spring St. to Science St.), and Washington St. (from Fenwick St. to Washington St. Ext. -- limited access will be available for residents of the Extension) will be closed during this entire time. We advise vehicles parked on these stretches to be aware of the closures and to not park overnight Friday night in those zones -- and also, please do not park in the Bath St. parking lot across from the Village Offices Building (66 Front St.) during this time, as this will not be accessible.
For patrons needing to access restaurants and other businesses, remember that the Saratoga County parking lots and Front Street lots west of Bath Street are options after 5pm and during the weekend.
Get ready for fun as we bring back our Winter Festival for the first time in several years!
