BSPA POLICE DEPT. SECURES HUGE GRANT!

It’s more great news for the Village of Ballston Spa and the Ballston Spa Police Department — just in time for their big move to their new Police Department building at 78 Thompson Street, the Village Police Department for their Law Enforcement Technology (LETECH) Program has been awarded a New York State Grant of $236,902.17 from the Division of Criminal Justice Services.

This award will assist our Police in several ways — including new technology for 78 Thompson Street, for our Police vehicles, and for officer body cameras, among other things. This grant amount exceeded our expectations, but it is wonderfully timed as we continue building toward improved conditions for our Police and better safety for our residents.
