Peddlers Permit Needed

The Village has learned that certain companies are going door to door soliciting business from Village residents. If someone from a commercial business attempts to solicit you at your residence or place of business within the Village, you can ask to see their permit from the Village. If they do not produce one, please obtain the name of the company and then contact the Village Clerk or Deputy Clerk to let us know. The Village only permits such commercial solicitation with a permit pursuant to Chapter 153 of the Village Code https://ecode360.com/9055829.
