Second Draft of the Zoning Code and Map

Attached is the updated zoning code. There are 2 documents:

PDF with all track changes shown. We got feedback that some people want to see the changes between versions

PDF with a “clean” version, i.e., track changes hidden.

We’ve made extensive changes based in part on community feedback, so we highlight the following:

Creation of open space district was major feedback now included in the code and map

Inclusion of sidewalk requirements to promote pedestrian safety and walkability

Adjustments to zoning map, including removal of downtown transition and adjustments to boundaries

Removal of PDD and ADU sections, which will be developed separately. Inclusion of existing Historic District until a replacement is developed

There were hundreds of comments on specific provisions. We’ve gone through all of those and changes have been made to essentially every article found in the Code.
